The Firewalkers of Beqa Island

The sacred fire walking ceremony was once restricted to a small Fijian population on Beqa island, just off the coast of Pacific Harbour, Fiji’s Adventure Capital, but today it's a major tourist attraction and performed in many resorts around Fiji.

To explore and highlight Fiji's lesser known regions, we partnered with STAB Magazine and took Sage Erickson, Macy Callaghan, Laura Enever, and Hannah Bennett on a girl’s surf trip to discover that Fiji is indeed, full of surprises!
